This is a Generic CD-ROM drive for IDE/ATAPI Interfaces. Instructions are included in many languages. It works for my 40X/AKU. I needed the driver when booting from the A drive. Install MSCDEX.EXE from your Windows/Command directory and install ATAPICD.SYS to your floppy. Insert the following in your config.sys on your floppy DEVICE=A \ATAPICD.SYS /D CD003
and edit the autoexec.bat file to include this line A \MSCDEX /V /D CD003 /M 10
