This driver is a generic (Lucent, win modem) - If you have purchased a compaq computer and had the (Compaq 56k-DF) modem installed and are unable to receive any help from compaq THIS DRIVER WILL WORK FINE - I CONNECT AT 44KBS - There are two newer version of this driver 35,&39 -But this seems to give me the fastes connection - ie downloads of 4.50kbs +
