maximum resolution/refresh rate allowed by this driver may be lower than that allowed by the plug & play driver.

this is because Windows does not come with an instruction set for REALsync monitors and therefore defaults to a generic monitor configuration.

using the plug and play driver to exceede the maximum res/refresh rate intended by the manufacturer WILL result in decreased monitor life.

the funtion of this driver is to provide Windows with an instruction set that will increase the life of your hardware by blocking potentialy harmful settings.

Installation:

right click "my computer"

select "properties"

select the "hardware" tab

click "device manager"

expand "monitors"

right click "plug and play monitor"

select "update driver"

select the "install from a specific location" radio button

click "next"

select the "don't search..." radio button

click "next"

click "have disk"

click "browse" and specify the folder that you saved the monitor driver in then click "open"

click "OK"

select your monitor from the resulting list then click "next"

click "finish" after it's done installing.
