Driver version 1.2 developed in UK for Sharp Digital Copier/Printers (DCP) AL1000 series for use with Windows 2000 OS. Enables Windows 2000 OS to use digital copier as a laser printer when connected to computer. (Sharp OEM driver for AL1000 series DCP ver 1.x is compatible with Win95/98 and NT but not Windows 2000 OS - a real problem for upgraders.) Mode of installation is to unzip the driver file, then launch the setup.exe file from the Start|Run command line and follow insturctions. This will install the printer into the Printers folder. As with the Sharp ver 1.x DCP driver, installation of this driver should be done from the Run line, not the Add Printer line in the Printers Folder. Driver was obtained from www.synergy5.com/
