I perfomed a clean install of windows XP on my pavilion XL946 and lost function of the media keys on my keyboard. It was a hard find but I have my keyboard back. All of the on-screen displayes work again. I can program the buttons in
control panel\keyboard. Just execute the application mmk_xp.exe and restart when it tells you to.
