BIOS - Update Processor Microcode for new CPUs

BIOS - Update ISM module from ISM_00_01_04 to ISM_00_01_05

mBMC - fix false error Unexpected voltage #0x0E/5V out of range event in SEL.

FRU/SDR - Modify 5v sensor SDR with new thresholds

FRU/SDR - Fix for False Chassis Intrusion

HSC - Changed the default event receiver from 0x20 to 0xFF. This will prevent HSC from accessing BMC in mBMC platforms when an event is generated.

HSC - Fixed the "Get Sensor Event Status" problem where only 2 bytes were returned. Now returns up to 6 bytes depending on sensor type.

Instructions

Unzip the file P06Updates.zip to a BOOTABLE USB flash drive or CD media.

P06 BIOS update-

Boot from the USB flash drive

Run "FLASH.BAT" from the folder named R510-P06.

Once the update completes, reboot the system.

Enter Setup by pressing the F2 key during boot up. Once in Setup,

press the F9 to set the parameters back to default values.

Press F10 to save and exit.

BMC firmware v2.40 update-

Unplug the network cable.

Unplug the AC, wait for all LEDs to turn off

Plug in the AC.

Boot from the USB flash drive

Run the file "updatbmc.bat" from the folder named BMC240

Follow the instruction on scrren, power cycle

(Wait for all the LED off during AC off)

P.S. mBMC f/w must be updated prior to FRU/SDR f/w.

FRU/SDR firmware v6.6J update -

Boot from the USB flash drive

Run the file "Autoexec.bat" from the folder named R510-66J.

Follow the prompts and answered the required questions.

Once completed, power the system off, remove and reapply power to the

system, and reboot the system.

HSC v1.06 (SCSI) or 1.08 (SATA) update -

Boot from the USB flash drive

If you have SATA HDDs, run the file "Autoexec.bat" from the folder named 108_sata.

If you have SCSI HDDs, run the file "Autoexec.bat" from the folder named 106_scsi.

NOTE: this update takes several minutes!!!
