Conexant R6793-12 is not a modem nor a modem model number. It's a chipset built by Conexant and used on literally dozens of modems made by as many or more manufacturer's. This particular driver is from HP and commonly found on Pavilion ZE1xxx and XF1xxx pc's. It's a combo modem/audio driver that should work on modems from different manfacturer's using the Conexant R6793-12 chipset. If it won't work on your particular chipset, then you must obtain the correct driver FROM the manufacturer of your modem.
