This driver includes the Control Interace as well as the Plug and Play Audiodrive, both of which are required to allow proper functioning of the ESS sound card. You need to run the file and specify a temporary storage folder before installation of driver.

Control Panel -> System -> Sound -> select appropriate sound card driver displayed, click on properties and upgrade tab --> proceed to upgrade driver.
