PHDISK is a utility, for the Phoenix BIOS, that creates a file or hard disk partition large enough to hold the entire state of your computer so it can be safely powered down and later powered up, rather quickly, without losing the machine integrity state. This Save-To-Disk feature is used for the Power Management and can be configured in the BIOS Setup program.
