"MON/APR/03/06 i have some kind of no name rip off winModem bought it in box with cd "no name" drivers didnt work off disk...box appeared to be genuine intel but turned out to be a deception ..this driver did not work for me,but thats not to say that the card was not just a total defect dumped as legit. the shop i bought it from has since gone out of business."

"At first the modem disconnected after 1-2 minutes (my provider doesn't support v.92 - v.44). I tried all possible commands. At last I found this one:

AT+ds=0

In this way I disabled the v.44 compression and I went back to v.42bis.

Now all works like a charm! ;-)
