This driver from TEAC successfully operates the LF-1195C PD/CD. Other drivers APPEARED to work (eg, Compaq, IBM, NEC and Matsu****a), but comparisons showed the write operation to DROP DATA! This driver *may* operate the LF-1195B, which was the OEM version for IBM versus the LF-1195C, the OEM version for (at least) Compaq. Simply copy the driver to the C \WINDOWS\SYSTEM\IOSUBSYS directory and reboot. You may want to remove any old drivers first (eg PDVSD.VXD was the previous faulty one). e-mail me if you have questions.
