This is the modem driver for the HP Pavilion XT893 Computer of which HP does not offer. This modem is Smart Technology INC. and is also known as Lucent Win Modem. I used this driver to remove XP Home from my machine and install Windows 2000 Pro on it. This driver is suppose to work with XP but I did not try it with XP. A good solution for those wanting 2000 instead of Windows XP. No 2000 stuff is or was offered for the HP Pavilion XT 893. I also uploaded the Video Savage Pro (Km133) Video driver and the VIA AC 97 audio drivers for Win 2000 on the Pavilion XT983.
