I was only able to install the proper

driver in Windows XP.

This are the steps I performed to get

it to work properly.

Install Palm Desktop for Clie first.

Skip the Hotsync during install. Once

Palm Desktop for Clie is installed,

run Hotsync from the Sony PDA.

Windows will recognize the new device,

and ask you which driver you want to

use. I chose, Clie Driver -> Hotsync

-> Win98. Windows informed me the

driver was unsigned, and asked if I

wanted to continue. I said yes.

Works like a charm!

If you don't choose the "Win98" folder

during the Palm Desktop for Clie

install, you should still be able to

install the driver using the following

method:

Right click "My Computer" Click
