PL3507

The files are a set of firmware updates that disappeared from Prolific's website. The 2 "A" zips are for "A" model chips, the "B" ones seem to work for both B and C model chips. The last file (PL*.zip) is the most recent of all but I don't know if it's tied to a specific model and I haven't tried it yet myself.

The "B" files contain Romwriter.exe which you can use on windows to send the firmware updates to your PL3507-based storage device (via usb).

Remmber to make a backup of your current firmware beford uploading the new one (romwrite.exe permits this).

These firmwares aren't perfect but for me, on Linux, they make the drive usable even though it stops working after about an hour of continuous use. I then unmount, unplug, switch the

drive off and on and then usually I can reconnect it.
