Although I said Win95, this may work in DOS too, but not sure. When I first got the SMS Par.Port portable CDrom, I couldn't find the original installation disk and instead found and used this driver. It worked fine. In Device Manager you will see Mat****a CDrom CR-583 for the CDrom and under SCSI Controllers you will see Shuttle EPIA Parallel Port ATAPI CD-ROM Adapter. This is for an 8x CDrom device that has no markings on the unit itself. Took me awhile to find the driver at first and have had many people email me and ask me to send it to them too, all saying it works. Try the original driver first (see my other entry) and if it doesn't work, try this one.
