If you use this video driver and download from www.via.com.tw the upgrade drives for the mother-board (4-in-1) for the via board(VIA Apollo MVP4 PCI Chipset) direct-x will properly work on the compaq presario 1277!!! a must if you ever want to run a real operating system, and still have the option of using your trident i7 video card I have test this and it works, problem e-mail me at frank.wallace@acsalaska.net attn triton (soon to be triton warez!!!) )
