I upgraded from Win 98 to Win 2000 and there where no drivers for my video controller (adapter)so I was stuck with 16 bit VGA. After installing this and playing with the display settings it worked perfect. I have a Compaq MV520. This driver was downloaded from this site from a user named Craig who said it was for his presario 7400 and Nick who said it worked for his compaq 7478.
