This is an all in one Mustek driver for the Black Widow 1248 Pro that will work in windows XP. To use in Vista: You have to temporarily edit the registry to make the installer think you have XP

In regedit, go to

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsNT\Cu rrent Version

Find the "product name" key. Carefully record what it says before you start. (eg paste it into a document somewhere).

Then change it to make it read: Microsoft Windows XP

Then run the Mustek XP installer, and change the registry key back to saying Vista.

How to Update Black Widow 1248 Pro Device Drivers Quickly & Easily

How to Install a driver from Device Manager
