This CDROM drive only works in Widows 9x with real-mode drivers installed. These drivers should work for DOS, Win 3.x, Win 9x, etc. This is only a 2X cdrom drive and uses a proprietary controller card/interface. You must load the drivers in the config.sys file with mscdex.exe loaded in autoexec.bat. Good luck. )

How to Install a driver from Device Manager
Locate the device and model that is having the issue and double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
Select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button and follow the instructions.
