"I'm sure this driver works fine if you have the device it is intended for. I've tried to find ana XP driver for an ovisLink pcmcia to ethernet (with dongle) card with out any luck. This review will only be helpful if you too are looking to for the driver to the same device (with donlgle) and suggest you throw it out the window as far as your arm could."

"This PCMCIA to Ethernet card (with dongle) is pretty old and the drivers require you to either insert floppy, which I don't have available on this laptop, but I don't think it would make a difference either way since their is no setup exe that XP can understand. They have at least three command prompt, manual configuration, and text files with instructions on what files t

How to Update LFS-PCM-32 Device Drivers Quickly & Easily

  • In Windows Vista, click Start -> Control Panel -> System and Maintenance -> Device Manager

  • In Windows XP, click Start -> Control Panel -> Performance and Maintenance -> System -> Hardware tab -> Device Manager button

How to Install a driver from Device Manager

  1. Locate the device and model that is having the issue and double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

  2. Select the Driver tab.

  3. Click the Update Driver button and follow the instructions.

In most cases, you will need to reboot your computer in order for the driver update to take effect.
