The IrDA USB devices made by KingSun Shenzhen comes in several versions, each with its own drives. This driver applies to USB\VID_07D0&PID_4959. The Vender ID number is 07B0 (KingSun) and the Product ID number is 4959. To confirm if your device is the number 4959, plug your USB IrDA in, Navigate: My Computer, View System Information, Hardware, Device Manager, find USB to IrDA (probably with a yellow ?), right click, left click properties, Details, drop down menu Device Instance ID. Following the letters PID with be the Product number. The first set of characters should match USB\VID_07D0&PID_4959.

"When you install an infrared device on Windows 98 it should automatically put an infrared icon in control panel and also in "My computer". This didn't happen."
